Bio-One of Allentown decontamination and biohazard cleaning services

Who Cleans Up After a Death in Pennsylvania?

Bio-One of Allentown is a company that provides compassionate and professional service when remediating all deaths throughout Pennsylvania. Our services include unattended death cleanup, suicide cleanup, homicide cleanup, overdose cleanup, and crime scene cleanup. Whenever a person passes away bodily fluid and gasses are released which can be potentially harmful to a person and property without the proper personal protection equipment, chemicals, and training.

Death Cleanup Service

On every job involving biohazardous fluid technicians must wear respirators, disposable foot covers, multiple pairs of gloves, and hazmat suits. Full personal protection equipment must be worn for the protection of our technicians and to avoid cross contamination of a scene. Cross contamination is the spreading of biohazardous fluid from an area that is impacted to an area that is clean. As crime scene cleaners we aim to avoid this at all costs by taking many precautions. All chemicals we use are proprietary Bio-One chemicals. All Bio-One chemicals used are EPA approved, food grade safe, and safe for pets.

In addition to advanced chemicals and personal protection equipment Bio-One of Allentown technicians also have advanced training. Both owners Rob and Joe Petit-Clair graduated from a week long BOTS training in Colorado. In Colorado, we studied and were instructed during live demonstrations of mock trauma scenes involving blood and other bodily fluids. In addition, to our BOTS training in Denver Colorado we also received extensive training in Chantilly Virginia at First Line Technology. At First Line Technology we were instructed on the decontamination of fentanyl. After the instructional portion we remediated real fentanyl that was contaminating different surfaces in mock scenes.

Fentanyl Response Training

In summation, Bio-One of Allentown is a company that professionally handles the decontamination, remediation, and cleanup of deaths throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Bio-One of Allentown is available 24/7 when a tragedy occurs.
